3、 Pump structure type

As mentioned earlier, there are roughly two structural types of single screw pump: direct connection type and bearing seat type. Both have their own interests. When selecting the model, they should consider many factors, such as operating pressure, device space, budget, power and so on, and then decide which type is suitable for them. For example, the flow of the pump is not large, dozens of cubic meters per hour, the pressure is not high, and the budget is also met within 12 bar. At this time, either of the two structures can be used. However, if there is a requirement for the pump installation space, and the required unit is as short as possible, then the direct connection type is undoubtedly the priority of the demand. However, if the flow of the pump is relatively large, such as 100-200 m3/h, the required power of the proportional reduction motor is also large, and the bearing pedestal structure should be given priority at this moment. As for the direct connected pump, when replacing the mechanical seal and other protective operations, the relatively large amount of work is required to disassemble and assemble the large standard reducer motor from the unit. For the pump with bearing pedestal structure, the reduction motor is B3 type, with independent base, so it is much simpler to protect the pump.

With regard to the directly connected pump, although a bearing seat is saved and the cost of the pump body is saved, the general shaft head and flange of the reducer are customized according to the size of the pump shaft head and the direct coupling frame, and the internal bearing of the reducer also needs to be strengthened. As a whole, it is a set of non calibrated reducer. It is necessary to purchase with the pump, losing the flexibility of self selection. Especially when the user specifies a brand of motor or supplies the motor by himself, the gearbox needs to have a standard IEC interface to adapt, which will add some costs. Therefore, to sum up the interests of all parties, we should always consider our own structure, which is the key to deal with the problem.

4、 Motor power

The margin that needs to be met when selecting power has been mentioned previously. Because the stator and rotor of screw pump belong to a kind of interference cooperation, and the medium transported under most working conditions will have solid particles, or high viscosity, or high temperature, which will consume some power. An important condition for selecting the motor power that meets the margin without too much expansion is that the user needs to make a clear explanation of the operating conditions. For example, the user's material practice temperature is much higher than that in the skill description, but the type selection is based on the skill description, and the motor power is calculated according to this working condition. However, in practice, because the high temperature will cause the rubber to swell, adding conflicts will consume power, which may lead to the overload of the motor. And because the customer does not provide accurate practical use temperature, it will also lead to some other problems. For example, the rotor does not make temperature compensation, resulting in increased interference, rapid stator wear, degumming, etc. These contents will be specified later.
