Basic working principle of IDEX Eldas metering pump

  As we all know, it mainly consists of power drive, fluid transport and scheduling control. The power drive device drives the fluid to transport the diaphragm through the mechanical linkage system to facilitate reciprocating movement:

      IDEX , the diaphragm (piston) will be sucked in by the delivered fluid in the first half cycle of the stroke and discharged from the pump head in the second half cycle; Therefore, changing the frequency of the reciprocating motion of the stroke or the stroke length of each reciprocating motion can achieve the intention of scheduling fluid delivery. The fine machining precision ensures the output of each pump so as to facilitate the fine accounting of the transported medium.  

Due to the different methods of power drive and fluid transportation, the accounting pump can be roughly divided into two types: red plunger type and diaphragm type.  

1. There are mainly two kinds of pumps: valved pump and valveless pump. Plunger type accounting pump is widely used in petrochemical industry because of its simple structure and high temperature and pressure resistance. In view of the lack of common plunger pumps for high viscosity media under high pressure conditions, a valveless rotary plunger type accounting pump has attracted more and more attention, and is widely used in the accounting addition of high viscosity media such as syrup, chocolate and petroleum additives. Due to the structural defect that the calculated medium cannot be completely isolated from the lubricant in the pump, the plunger type accounting pump is subject to many restrictions in the application of fluid accounting with high anti pollution requirements.  

2. Out of context, the diaphragm type accounting pump uses a specially planned flexible diaphragm to replace the piston, so as to facilitate reciprocating movement and complete the suction discharge process under the effect of driving the organization. Because of the isolation effect of the diaphragm, the structure is really convenient for the isolation between the fluid to be calculated and the drive lubrication organization. The high-tech structural planning and the selection of new materials have greatly improved the service life of the diaphragm. In addition to the excellent corrosion resistance of composite materials, the diaphragm accounting pump has now become the main pump type in the application of fluid accounting. Among the members of the diaphragm type accounting pump family, the hydraulic driven diaphragm pump uses oil to drive the diaphragm evenly, which overcomes the disadvantage of excessive force concentration of the pump diaphragm under the mechanical direct drive method, and improves the diaphragm life and upper limit of operating pressure. In order to defeat the operation failure caused by diaphragm damage that may occur in single diaphragm accounting pumps, some accounting pumps are equipped with diaphragm damage to facilitate active interlocking maintenance when diaphragm is broken; The accounting of pump head with double diaphragm structure further improves its * * performance, which is suitable for the application occasions where * * maintenance is particularly flexible.  

As a kind of diaphragm type accounting pump, it uses electromagnet to generate pulsating driving force, which eliminates the motor and variable speed organization, making the system compact and compact. It is an important branch of small range low-pressure accounting pump.
