Maintenance and repair
Professional trained customer service installers are available to complete installation and maintenance. The certificate of transported articles (DIN safety data page or safety certificate) shall be submitted upon request.
7.1 Monitoring
The inspection interval is related to the use of the pump.
1. Check at appropriate intervals:
– Compliance with minimum throughput
– Rolling bearing temperature<120 ° C
– No change in normal operation status
– Oil level, refill if necessary
– Alignment of coupling and status of elastic element
2. In order to realize fault free operation, ensure that:
– No dry running
– Sealing performance
– No cavitation
– Suction side valve open
– Smooth and clean filter
– Adequate inflow pressure
– No abnormal operation noise and vibration
– There is no excessive leakage at the shaft seal ring
– The auxiliary operating system functions as specified
maintain
Service life of rolling bearing in operation within the allowable operating range>2 years Intermittent operation, high temperature, low viscosity and harsh environment and reduced process conditions
Service life of rolling bearings. The natural wear of mechanical seals largely depends on the actual use environment. Therefore, the service life cannot be uniformly stated.
7.2.1 Oil lubricated rolling bearings
1. Replace lubricating oil:
– After 300 hours of initial operation
– At least once a year after every 5000 operating hours
2. When replacing, unscrew the locking bolt on the bearing frame and drain the lubricating oil into a suitable collecting container at the operating temperature.
3. Screw on the locking bolt again and fill with lubricating oil (→ 6.1.3 Lubricating bearing, page 22)
7.2.2 Mechanical seal
Depending on the function, the mechanical seal is provided with a drip leak port (→ manufacturer's instructions). Single side mechanical seal with blocking seal: the obvious rise of water level in the sprinkler system indicates that the mechanical seal leaks seriously. Double sided mechanical seal: the pressure in the locking system drops significantly (sealing liquid loss), indicating that the mechanical seal on the product side has serious leakage.
In case of serious leakage: replace the mechanical seal with auxiliary seal and check the function of the auxiliary system.
Packing sleeve
To derive frictional heat, the packing sleeve must always leak slightly. The leakage may increase in the initial operation time, and will gradually decrease in the running in time.
When the leakage increases: slightly tighten the hexagon nut on the packing box ring.
7.2.4 Cleaning the pump
instructions
Excessive water pressure or water spray will cause bearing damage! It is forbidden to use jet water or steam ejector to clean the bearing part. Clean the pump of heavy dirt.
7.3 Disassembly
warning
Danger of injury from heavy components! Pay attention to the weight of components, and use the corresponding lifting device to lift and transport heavy components. Place components safely to prevent tilting and rolling.
warning
Danger of injury during disassembly work! Make sure that the pressure side valve is not accidentally opened. As the case may be, make the existing drainage equipment free of pressure. Wear safety gloves. Parts may be very sharp due to wear or damage. Carefully remove parts with springs (such as end seals, pretensioned bearings, valves), as spring tension parts may be ejected.
Pay attention to the manufacturer's instructions (e.g. for motors, couplings, end seals, drainage equipment, cardan shafts, drives, belt drives, etc.).
