1. The theoretical flow Qr of Viking pump is independent of the pipeline characteristics and only depends on the pump itself, while the pressure supplied depends on the pipeline characteristics and has nothing to do with the pump itself. When the discharge pressure of the pump increases, the leakage loss in the pump increases, so the actual flow of the pump decreases slightly with the increase of the pressure;
2. The shaft power of the pump increases with the increase of discharge pressure, and the pump power also increases with it. However, when the pressure exceeds the rated value, the power will decrease due to the addition of leakage in the pump;
3. With the addition of liquid viscosity and gas content, the flow and power of the pump decrease;
4. Viking Viking pump must be equipped with safety valve;
5. The flow of the pump cannot be regulated by the outlet valve, and the bypass regulation and speed regulation methods are often used to regulate the flow;
6. It is not necessary to fill the pump before starting the pump, but the valve must be opened before starting;
7. Viking is usually used to transport non corrosive oil and other viscous media with viscosity of 1-1x10mm2/s, not suitable for transporting liquids containing solid particles and high volatility and low flash point liquids.
