Application
SRU series rotary cam pumps are designed for various applications in brewing, dairy, food, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. SRU pump can handle media with various viscosities from low to high. It is characterized by stable pumping and low shear force. It is an ideal choice for pumping cream, gel, emulsion, aerated mixture, fragile cells, organic suspended solids and other products. SRU series is suitable for CIP and meets the USA 3-A sanitary standard. In addition, SRU pump series has also obtained the certification of EHEDG (European Sanitary Equipment Design Group), according to which CIP cleaning performance can be completely carried out. The SRU pump series can also operate in potentially explosive environments with a temperature classification from T1 to T4 in ATEX Directive 94/9/EC Group II, Category 2 and 3. SRU series has compact structure and high efficiency, capable of carrying up to 106 m ³/ H and a maximum pressure of 20 bar. Standard design
The transmission of the pump SRU pump adopts the traditional rotary cam pump design concept, has a solid cast iron transmission, can provide maximum shaft stiffness and is easy to replace oil seals. The 1-4 product series of SRU series adopt the universal transmission design. The pump can be installed more flexibly by changing the base and its position to adjust the inlet and outlet to the vertical or horizontal type. SRU series 5 and 6 product series adopt special gearbox casting, and the inlet and outlet can also be set as vertical or horizontal.
Pump head components
SRUs with standard specifications have sanitary equal diameter entrances and exits in line with international standards, which maximizes the efficiency of entrances and NPSH characteristics. The enlarged diameter and rectangular port can handle products with extremely high viscosity. The standard SRU has a three cam rotor, or a double cam rotor can be selected to handle the liquid containing fragile large particles. All rotors have three temperature classes, so that the pump can work at the maximum process temperature of 70 ° C, 130 ° C and 200 ° C, and can pump liquid or conduct in-situ cleaning.

Component materials
Pump gearbox – high quality grey cast iron. Pump head - overflow product component, made of 316L. The rubber pads of overflow products are EPDM, NBR and FPM, all of which comply with FDA quality standards. In addition, PTFE is used for chemical applications.

Shaft seal options
-Single ended or single ended water filled/cooled mechanical seals. R90 or Hyclean type mechanical seal.
-Double ended water injection type R90 mechanical seal (vapor barrier for sterile applications).
-Packing seal (not filled or filled).
Note: Only Hyclean type mechanical seals comply with EHEDG.
Material of mechanical seal
Carbon steel/stainless steel, tungsten carbide/tungsten carbide, silicon carbide/silicon carbide or different combinations of these materials suitable for pumping fluid requirements. (Note that all R90/Hyclean seal types do not provide combinations of other materials)

Operating principle
The pumping and discharging function of SRU pump is completed by the mutual reversal of two non-contact three cam or double cam rotors in a thoroughly cleanable pump chamber, and by positive displacement. All SRU pumps can form double rotating liquid flow without any modification.
