1、 Correct installation is the prerequisite to ensure safe and stable operation.
Make sure that the inlet and outlet pipelines do not have too much stress on the pump body. Thoroughly purge the pipelines before installation to prevent welding slag and other sundries from entering the pump. These are the most basic common sense, which need not be repeated here. The following focuses on the pump.
The coupling and bell housing shall be selected to ensure that qualified products are used to ensure that the concentricity meets the requirements. Poor quality products may cause early damage to pump bearings and mechanical seals. This situation can be easily identified according to the abnormal noise and vibration that may occur when the pump is running. It is emphasized here that the clearance between two coupling halves should be strictly referred to the following table. Too small clearance may lead to irreversible consequences such as premature damage of pump bearing, screw seizure in serious cases, etc.

2、 Layout of suction pipe and selection of pipe diameter
The suction pipeline shall be designed by a professional process engineer and the reasonable pipe diameter shall be determined. To ensure that the required NPSHr of the pump is less than the available NPSHa of the system, and there is sufficient margin. In this way, cavitation will not occur when the pump is running. The inlet pipeline shall be as short as possible with as few elbows and valves as possible to reduce the loss of pressure head. The flow rate in the pipe shall be between 0.5-1.2m/s, and an oil injection port shall be reserved on the pipe for refueling before startup.
