1. Due to leakage of the suction pipe or shaft seal, air enters the pump. The screw pump is always sucking air, and the inlet pipeline cannot produce negative pressure, so the screw pump cannot absorb liquid. The solution is to check and repair the pipeline, remove impurities, adjust and replace the shaft seal.
2. When the screw pump motor is inverted, the screw pump cannot absorb liquid, and only needs to adjust the polarity connection of the motor.
3. As the inhaled pulp is too dry, the screw pump may not be able to absorb liquid even when the operation is in a semi dry state. As long as enough pulp is diluted, enough pulp may be added in the feed inlet.
4. If the viscosity of the liquid conveyed is too high, the screw pump will also be unable to absorb the liquid. If the viscosity of the fluid is too high, the speed of the screw pump can only be reduced, and the viscosity of the liquid will be reduced after the temperature of the liquid rises, or a straight screw pump can be used.
5. The screw pump is unable to inhale liquid after being used for a period of time. It is likely that the stator or rotor needs to be replaced due to faults of the stator and rotor.
6. If the valves of the inlet and outlet pipelines are not opened or the opening degree is insufficient, the inlet and outlet valves should be opened.
7. The screw pump with packing seal may have worn packing, and the screw pump with mechanical seal may have damaged or worn mechanical seal appearance, pressure or replaced packing, and replace new mechanical seal when the mechanical seal is damaged.
8. Because the solid particles in the liquid are too large, the screw pump can not inhale the liquid. Because the gap between the rotor and stator of the screw pump is very small, if the particles are too large, they can not enter the working chamber of the screw pump, which will be blocked, Therefore, it is necessary to change the particle size of solids or use self-priming sewage pump. If the particle diameter is too large, the general self-priming sewage pump is not competent. Only the open impeller self-priming sewage pump can solve the problem.
9. Since the screw pump will produce solid precipitation after stopping the operation, perhaps the liquid will condense at low temperature, causing the rotor and stator to be stuck and difficult to rotate, the pump body should be cleaned immediately before stopping the operation, and the pump body should be opened for cleaning if necessary. If the liquid condenses at low temperature, the temperature of the imported liquid needs to be increased, and the pump should be well insulated, Heat preservation pump may be used.
