The manufacturer shall not be liable for any loss caused by non-compliance with the contents of the document.
2.1 Conventional use
The pump is specially used to deliver the agreed delivery medium (an order data page), complying with the operating limits and the minimum delivery volume determined by the structural dimensions
Avoid dry running: a few seconds of dry running may cause damage to the mechanical seal or other plastic parts. Ensure that the pump is only used when there is conveying medium. Do not run the pump when there is no conveying medium.
Avoid cavitation:
Fully open the valve on the suction side and do not use it to adjust the displacement - the specified operating time point must not be exceeded when opening the valve on the pressure side. Avoid overheating:
Do not operate the pump in the opposite direction of the closed pressure side valve. Pay attention to the minimum delivery volume (one order data page)
Avoid motor damage:
-The pressure side valve shall not be opened beyond the specified operating time point- Note that the allowable number of motor starts per hour (specified by the manufacturer) Any other use shall be agreed with the manufacturer.
When delivering the pump without motor, the pump set must be matched according to the provisions of 2006/42/EC Machinery Directive.
Avoid obvious abuse of the Example
Pay attention to the service limits of the pump in terms of temperature, pressure, delivery capacity and speed (an order data page).
With the increase of the density of the transported material, the power consumption of the pump will also increase. In order to avoid overloading the pump, coupling and motor, please observe the allowable density values (one order document page). It is allowed to transport materials with lower density. Adjust the attachment accordingly.
When it is used to transport media containing particles, it is necessary to ensure that the particle content and size are within the use limit of the pump (an order data sheet, technical description).
When using the auxiliary operating system, the pump that ensures the continuous supply of the corresponding working medium is water is not allowed to transport food or drinking water. The use of food or drinking water must be described on the order data page. The installation method can only be selected according to these instructions. Prohibited, for example:
Hang the base pump on the pipe and head down to install it. The installation position is too close to the wall between the installation positions of super heat and super cold sources
General safety tips 2.2
Pay attention to the following regulations before any operation.
2.2.1 Product safety
The pump is manufactured according to the technical level and recognized safety technical regulations. Nevertheless, it may still cause danger to the body and life of the user or others, and cause damage to the pump and other properties.
Only operate the pump according to the regulations and with safety and danger awareness under the condition of perfect technology and compliance with this manual. ALLWEILER ,
Ensure the integrity and readability of this manual and the equivalent valid documents, and keep them properly for relevant personnel to use at any time.
Avoid any working methods that may endanger the staff or irrelevant third parties. In case of any safety related fault, stop the pump immediately and eliminate the fault through the responsible person.
As a supplement to the document, it shall comply with the laws or other safety and accident prevention regulations as well as the applicable standards and codes of each operating country.
2.2.2 Responsibilities of users
Work with safety awareness
Only operate the pump according to the regulations and with safety and danger awareness under the condition of perfect technology and compliance with this manual.
Ensure compliance with regulations and implement supervision:
General use
Legal or other safety and accident prevention regulations - safety regulations for handling dangerous goods The standards and guidelines applicable to each operating country provide protective equipment.
Personnel qualification
Ensure that the personnel authorized to operate the pump have read and understood the pump instructions and all equivalent valid documents before starting work, especially the safety, maintenance and repair information, clarify their responsibilities, authorities and conduct personnel supervision. ALLWEILER screw pump
The trained personnel can only operate the pump under the supervision of technicians. All operations can only be performed by professionals with necessary qualifications:
Safety devices
Plan and ensure the function of the following safety devices: - For hot, cold and self moving parts: provide contact protection for the pump on site When static electricity may occur: properly grounded
guarantee
The manufacturer's permission shall be obtained before any modification, repair work or modification within the warranty period.
Only original parts or parts approved by the manufacturer shall be used.
driving system
When delivering pumps without drive system, the following requirements for drive system shall be observed: when using AC asynchronous motor, IEC 60034-30-1 standard shall be followed.
It is recommended that the power of the drive should comply with EN ISO 5199 standard (EN ISO 5199 standard also applies to Screw pump When using an internal combustion engine, consult Allweiler pump.
For the pump with plug-in shaft, please connect the drive system, pump directly and use elastic coupling according to DIN 740-2 for plug-in.
Use coupling protection as follows:
The fastening elements must always be connected to the pump unit. The safety distance from the hazardous area specified in the standard ENISO 13857 must be observed.
2.2.3 Responsibilities of relevant personnel
Pay attention to the prompt on the pump and ensure its readability, such as the rotation direction arrow and the sign of the liquid interface.
Pump, coupling protection and accessories:
one
It is not allowed to step on or use it as a climbing aid. It is not allowed to use it as a support for a plate, slope or groove. It is not allowed to use it as an anchor or support for a wire rope winch Contact protection of cold and self moving parts.
If necessary, use appropriate protective equipment:
Safety helmet and safety shoes l goggles 1
Gloves (anti cutting grade at least 3/C)
l
I Other protective equipment depends on the conveying medium
Work on the pump can only be done at a standstill.
When performing all installation and maintenance work, cut off the voltage of the motor and ensure that it will not be switched on again.
After all work has been done on the pump, reinstall the safety device as specified.
2.3 Special hazards
2.3.1 Electric shock
Contact with live parts (such as the cable in the motor junction box) may cause electric shock, which may lead to serious injury or death.
Electrical work can only be carried out by professional electricians.
2.3.2 Hidden dangerous conveying medium
The transmission medium may be toxic and high temperature, and may splash out during transmission. Contact with the conveying medium may cause burns or rash.
When handling dangerous transport media (such as high temperature, flammable, explosive, toxic and harmful media), pay attention to the safety regulations on dangerous goods.
Before performing any work, the pump should be completely cooled, and then the pressure should be removed to safely collect the spilled transmission medium, and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. Drain the pump when performing maintenance and repair work.
Wear protective equipment when performing any work on the pump.
2.3.3 Moving parts
There is a danger of fatal injury caused by personnel being involved, squeezed or trapped on moving parts (such as shafts and couplings).
Do not touch the running pump.
Do not perform any work on a running pump.
Keep enough distance from moving parts.
When performing all installation and maintenance work, disconnect the power supply of the motor and ensure that it will not be reconnected.
2.3.4 High temperature surface
The temperature of the housing surface is very high during operation and after shutdown. Touching hot surfaces can cause burns.
Do not touch the running pump.
Allow the pump to cool completely before performing any work.
Wear safety gloves.
